The Thirty-Eighth episode of the Great Deep Podcast Series talks about endurance training as a metaphor for life.

Yup, life is a marathon, not a sprint. The older I get, the more cliches I encounter. But cliches are cliches for a reason, and the marathon is in the mind.
One of the key lessons I’ve learned is that the battle in your mind is helped considerably when you have the right people alongside you. You can reform narratives in your head when you choose to listen to wiser and more experienced people than you.
